CEC Project on Power Supply Efficiency in the Active Mode -- Posted 8/7/2003
The California Energy Commission, through its Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) program, has awarded funding to a collaborative effort to improve internal and external power supply efficiency. This collaborative effort includes Ecos Consulting, Electricity Innovation Institute (E2I), and EPRI Solutions Inc.. The goals of the project are to establish a consensus test method, refine estimates of energy use and savings opportunities, build relationships with industry, establish a national design competition, and make policy recommendations for the state of California.
